Then, when time for the fight comes, they run into a snag.

Nobody is scared of Richie. Nobody is impressed. If anything the punks want to fight him more!

Richie panics and asks Fonzie what’s going on.

Fonzie’s answer: “There’s one thing I forgot to tell you. You need to have a reputation for having won a fight in order to be seen as a tough guy.”

Ouch. Too little, too late.

Economics 101: Producers NEED To Be Rewarded!

Is the teacher in this story truly a genius?
Checked out and this is true…it DID happen!

An economics professor at a college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had to recently fail an entire class.

That class had insisted that Obama’s socialist agenda was admirable. They believed that no one should be poor, and no one should be rich. The government should “righteously” impose policies to be a great equalizer. (Sound like the “occupy” crowds across the country?)

The professor then said, “OK, we will use this class as an experiment. We will use the ideology of Obama. All grades will be averaged. Starting with the next test, everyone will receive the same grade.” (The experiment substituted grades for dollars – something the students could directly relate to and more readily understand.)

The first test was given. After the tests were corrected, the grades were averaged and every student got a B.

The students who studied hard were upset because their high grades were marked down. But the students who studied little were happy because they received a higher grade than they had produced.

When the second test rolled around, the students who studied little actually studied even less. At the same time, the ones who had received the highest grades previously decided they also wanted a free ride, so they studied less, too.

The second test average across the entire class was a D! No one was happy!

When the third test of the semester was given, the class average was an F!

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, ALL the students FAILED.

The students received a hard, but valid lesson in “real world” economics.

The professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail. This is because when the potential rewards are great, the efforts to succeed are also great. But when government takes all (or even MOST) of the rewards away, no one will try or want to succeed.

This example could not be any simpler. Socialism has failed miserably EVERYWHERE it has been tried, EVERY TIME!

Now remember: there IS a test coming up for YOU – the 2012 elections! What agenda are you going to vote for?

Following are possibly the 5 best sentences you’ll ever read and all summarize this experiment:

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without earning, another person must work for without ever receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that it does not first take from somebody else. (The government does NOT produce ANY profits! Taxes confiscate the wealth of others. Government “grants” to one group are simply debts that are imposed on taxpayers.)

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! In fact, “spreading the wealth” results in less total wealth.

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation. Margaret Thatcher once said, “The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.”

All these statements are true and verifiable. And yet, they are exactly the opposite of what the “social justice” liberals try to legislate in thousands of provisions in hundreds of laws.

Even worse, these counter-intuitive policies are also imposed on the productive sector of society – WITHOUT a vote or representation – by the bureaucrats in the thousands of agencies of federal, state, and local governments across the country.

The United States is at a critical “tipping point”. We have reached the point in history where half the population not only doesn’t pay taxes, but receives benefits. In addition, over 40% of the federal budget is deficit spending.

Not only is the federal government paying people for not producing (and subsidizing companies, farmers, and state and local governments) but we are borrowing 40 cents of every dollar spent to do so!

Your vote next November is crucial to reverse this unsustainable course.

There’s a certain mindset you must have in order to succeed in business (any kind of business). And people who lack this mindset are always better off accepting it and staying as far away from the whacky, zany and often “roller coaster” ride of entrepreneurialism as possible.

They’re liable to get themselves hurt, otherwise.

Both financially AND emotionally.

And you know what? This is especially true for people considering PRO Elite!

Be honest with yourself about this. Are you driven to be in business for yourself, and will overcome whatever obstacles are standing in your way?

There Are No Rich Sheep!

Online Success Is Rewarded, And Not A Gift

Every successful person took the initiative at some point. They stepped out, took a risk, ignored the pessimists, and overcame obstacles.

I challenge you to identify one successful person who had success thrust on him or her.

Try to name one successful person (and I am not talking about inherited wealth) that didn’t risk it all at some point.

Now this doesn’t mean you have to be fool-hearty. There are definitely proven strategies and formulas for success that can be repeated. But, at the same time, employing these methods often requires STOPPING some other activities in order to free up time and funds..

Such is the case with online marketing success. It makes no sense to try to reinvent the wheel. There are many successful people who are very generous with their advice and training resources. (I have cataloged many on my blog at randyreek.com in the Marketing Training section.

The “Super Committee” Was Formed

But Not Given Any Super Powers!

So where do we go from here?

Super Committee = Super Calamity

So the facts are clear:
No one from the government is going to solve the economic problems facing you.
You are on your own!

Let’s put the problem in perspective. Our federal government is spending 40% MORE than it receives in revenues. How long could you run your household (or business) spending $140,000 per year on a gross income of $100,000?

This means the economy is more than 40% a complete illusion.

We are receiving services, driving on highways, and enjoying benefits that are NOT paid for!

The net result of more than 40 years of these policies is that the federal government (not even counting state and local governments) has accumulated $15 TRILLION in debt!

Another dose of reality:

The federal government wants to increase taxes on those earning more than $250,000 per year. What if they confiscated 100% of this $250,000 income?

$15 trillion = $250,000 times 60 million!

This is basic multiplication:

It would take 100% of the GROSS income of 60 MILLION people to eliminate the $15 trillion deficit.

Bad news: Obviously, this is not possible!

First of all, you can not confiscate 100% of the income of people.
Secondly, there aren’t 60 million Americans that earn $250,000 per year. There are only about 150 million total households in the U.S. and HALF of these not only don’t pay ANY taxes but are net recipients of government benefits!

So what is the bottom line?

1. Taxes are going to HAVE to increase!
2. Government benefits and services are going to HAVE to decrease!
3. You are going to HAVE to earn MORE to offset these realities!

Now you have to make a choice: find a way to earn substantially more at your current job, OR…

add another stream of income (or a combination of both.)
